Osborn singt es durchaus technisch sauber und mit Stilgefühl. Seinem Tenor fehlen jedoch die Farben und eine breiter Ausdrucksüalette. Die Höhe wird zudem mit zu viel Druck angegangen. Dss konnte ich alles sich bei der Frankfurter Premiere am 16.6.24 feststellen. Und sein Vortrag berührte auch kaum. Kein Vergleich zur Gänsehaut auslösenden Interpretation von Neil Shicoff im Wien. Das ist hier ja mehrfach auf UA-cam nachzusehen und nachzuhören. Ich habe Shicoff 2003 live in Wien gesehen. Und seine Interpretation der Arie wohl einer der erschütternden und bewegendsten Opernerlebnisse meines Lebens. Und ich gehe seit 1979 in die Oper.

Sem dúvidas o melhor D. Magnífico da história. A melhor atuação que já vi e com uma dicção sublime.
